Boats of all shapes and sizes are becoming more and more popular with people who want to get away from it all. Boats bring their own unique joys and experiences. As applies to land based property, boats too need their share of looking after. In this section we have endeavoured to show you a broad selection of situations ranging from simple rowing boats, sailing boats to fancy yachts and even sailing ships. Some of the information can cross over to regular non-marine things such as wooden furni-ture, plastics etc so you may find it useful.
As’ good as it gets…
The ‘late’ Irish training sailing ship The Asgard has had its timbers protected and maintained for many years with Deks Olje D1 and D2. Primarily the masts, hand rails and wheelhouse.
OTHER USEFUL APPLICATIONS FOR ABOVE SOLUTION: Steel Roof Condensation... Drip Drip!
Some subscribers (rural mainly) ask re solution to water dripping down from overhead corrugated steel roof sheeting in workshops, sheds etc.
If you have the time and patience to do it, the above solution should fix that problem also. One man in Galway said he had such a roof in a workshop which had lots of saw blades and tools which were getting rust damage from the drips of water and this solution fixed the problem perfectly for him also.
STEEL CONTAINERS… Sometimes steel containers are used for storage etc and the same problem happens there. Same solution as above. If the container has roof leaks, we recommend two coats of GacoPro. More about that on www.GacoFlatRoofingSolutions.com - There will be no more leaks!
